The multi-disciplinary studies in the field of Marine Biotechnology are conducted with the contribution of scientists from the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography and the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology. Some courses are also delivered by experts from other national and foreign institutions involved in biotechnology sector. The aim of the studies is to provide students with the most up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge of the possible biotechnological application of marine natural resources. During the studies, students will be introduced to the methods of sustainable farming of organisms in aquaculture and production of high-value pro-healthy products.

Średnia ocen1) z całego okresu studiów - max. 70 pkt.
Rozmowa kwalifikacyjna w języku angielskim na temat własnych zainteresowań związanych z wybieranym kierunkiem studiów - max. 30 pkt.
1) Zasady obliczania i weryfikacji średniej określa § 12 ust. 1 i 2 Uchwały Senatu.
O przyjęcie na studia mogą ubiegać się absolwenci studiów wyższych (studiów pierwszego lub drugiego stopnia oraz jednolitych studiów magisterskich) reprezentujących takie dyscypliny naukowe jak nauki o Ziemi i środowisku, biotechnologia, nauki biologiczne, nauki chemiczne, biologia medyczna, nauki farmaceutyczne oraz inżynieria biomedyczna.
W przypadku kandydatów, którzy ukończyli studia na kierunkach z innych obszarów nauki, decyzję o dopuszczeniu do postępowania rekrutacyjnego podejmuje komisja rekrutacyjna na podstawie analizy programu ukończonych studiów i osiągniętych efektów uczenia się.
